I have proof!
Today, the proof copy for Redemption Lost arrived from Lightning Source, and I'm happy with the cover and the binding, which looks much nicer than the Lulu "perfect binding." The Lulu books hold up to wear and tear well, but they have a lot of extra glue which make some fugly bumps in the cover sometimes. It happened on two out of the three proof copies we got, but the LS version looks clean.
I got a live reading done tonight, but by the end, I felt like I was chugging sandpaper instead of bottled water. 0.o Voice started merging into each other, and it got ugly near the end. Still, I might try for a podcast after I recover.
I now must get back to work... it just never ends these days -_-
