This week I got an email from the webmaster of a site called Sad Quotes, and he was politely requesting a link exchange. In keeping with my consistent policy to be the lousiest marketer ever, I don't use link exchanges on my site. But instead of just saying so, I decided to check out the site.

The basic premise is, it's an index of sad or dark quotes, and by reading these dark thoughts, you often find some very deep and meaningful statements about life and the human condition So in this way, the aim of these sad quote isn't to depress people, but to inspire them.

I really like this concept, and so I thought I'd post up a link for Sad Quotes, and give them some free advertising. So, if you have a few minutes to spare, give them a shot.
